Any table lamp or standard lamp can be dressed with a shade to enhance its appearance. Traditional lamp bases can be brought into the 21st Century by adding a modern light shade. Shades are available in various sizes and designs ranging from from 5 inch half shades for candle wall lights, to massive 22 inch floor lamp shades.

There is also a wide choice of designs available from traditional empire shades to modern cylinders and an array of colours and fabrics from lubbed silks in subtle colours to natural calicos and linen.

Don't forget to add a shade carrier if required. These are available from 4 inches high and go up in size by inch increments. They are usually a prerequisite of any shade 16 inches and above.
