Low Energy Lighting | Low Voltage Indoor and Outdoor Lighting
With the increase in environmental awareness, low energy lighting is becoming very important. All new build homes have to have a minimum of 30% of the lighting made up of low energy fittings to pass current regulations and this does not include adding regular ES or BC low energy lamps. It is the fitting itself which must be a low energy lighting fitting.
Occupants of older properties are becoming increasingly aware of the impact their lighting emissions are having on our world so are constantly requesting fittings with low energy options. Therefore, we have a vast range of low energy lighting available to choose from whether the fitting uses low energy compact fluorescent, LEDs or low energy G10 fittings, modern or traditional we have low energy lighting to suit all settings.
Did you know that a low energy compact fluorescent lamp produces approximately 80% energy saving compared to standard incandescent lamps and can last up to 12 times longer than traditional GLS bulbs. But remember low voltage lamps and low energy lamps are two completely different things don't get confused between the two as low voltage lamps do not have any energy saving properties at all!
